Steveston's Best of British Shop is being transformed into a new space for filming this week.

Several shops in Steveston got a makeover for filming this week.

Steveston's Best of British shop is one of many that have been repainted and reorganized as part of filming for a TV series.

The Richmond News has been told the TV series is untitled at the moment but is a "murder she wrote" type of series.

The popular store posted on its Instagram account that they are "getting ready for filming," and shows an almost empty store, which is a drastic change from its usual rows of fully-stocked shelves.

Steveston Sweet Shoppe, which is right next to the Best of British store, has also cleared out its shelves for filming.

Both stores notified that they would be closed for filming from March 11 to 17.

Filming also started this week on No. 2 Road for U.S. legal drama So Help Me Todd.
