Richmond chorus and students join forces for upcoming concert

The Richmond Orchestra & Chorus Association (ROCA) will be performing with local students for their upcoming concert on April 18.

The concert, The Music's Always There, will feature works by choral composers John Rutter and Bob Chilcott. Rutter is known for his Christmas carols and folk songs, while Chilcott was a member of the British vocal group the King's Singers and one of the best-known choral composers in the world.

The chorus will be joined by Steveston-London secondary's choir, which will be performing two songs with the chorus in addition to their own set of repertoire.

The concert is set to take place at Fraserview Mennonite Brethren Church at 11295 Mellis Dr on April 18 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for seniors or students, $23 for adults $15 for groups of five or more and $25 at the door.
