Katie and the Starry Night

This book is about a girl named Katie. One day, her grandma took her to the art gallery. In one of the pictures there were stars. Katie climbed into that picture and caught a star, but all the others came out!

Finally, Katie caught all the stars and put them back where they belong!

I like this book because the pictures are very beautiful, there are lots of details, and the story is very interesting.

I give this book five stars.

The Busytown Animals are getting into countless silly situations, whether it’s an out-of-control mix-up with Ma Pig’s new car or a talking loaf of bread.

I like this book because it has silly stories. I give this book five stars.

The Hound of Rowan

Max Daniels, 11, has been living a dull life with his father in Chicago for many years, but his life changes when a tapestry seems to change before his eyes. He is accepted into a school of magic, where he turns from an ordinary student to a hero.

I like this book because ever since fourth grade I’ve had an interest in books with magic. My teacher read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to us for read aloud and I was hooked.

First, I finished the Harry Potter series and them some of Rick Riordan’s books. The Hound of Rowan turned out to be a great book and lots of people will enjoy reading it because it has lots of genres: fantasy, mythology, mystery, etc.

I give this book five stars.
