Richmond's Gateway Theatre is inviting the public to audition for its upcoming holiday musical this year.
The theatre is featuring Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables.
The musical follows the rise of Anne Shirley, a feisty, red-haired orphan who arrives unexpectedly in the small farming community.
Gateway is looking to cast eight main roles, musicians who can play a variety of instruments as well as children ages 12 and over in this production.
Anyone from the community is welcome to submit an application for auditions with a deadline of July 20 at 11:59 p.m.
Applicants invited to audition will be asked to prepare a monologue of their choice as we ll as a song in the style of the show from July 27 to 30.
