A Starbucks in Richmond is one of the few in Canada offering curbside pickup to get around the pandemic.
The company began testing in 10 stores in Ontario cities earlier this month and has added 20 additional test locations across the country, including Richmond, Delta, Langley, Surrey, Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
Starbucks’ café at Bridgeport and No. 3 roads started offering the service earlier this week.
The curbside pickup enables customers to be served in a safe and convenient way that respects physical distancing.
Powered by the Starbucks App, the service lets customers order ahead and choose Curbside Pickup if applicable to their store.
Upon arrival, the customer can park in a designated curbside parking spot and check-in using the app.
The store will then be notified of the customer’s arrival and a barista will gather their order and deliver it to the customer’s car.
