Make these scrumptious s’mores recipes at home or outdoors

Move over marshmallows, there’s a new s’more in town
s'mores
Get all the goo with less mess by using a sugar cone as a base for these s'mores.

Who doesn’t love a good s’more when you’re camping in the great outdoors, but did you know they’re just as easy to make at home?

And watch out marshmallows, you’ve got some competition with the one recipe below that replaces your gooey goodness with rich, melted brie cheese.

Campfire sugar cone s’mores

Ingredients

1 cup miniature marshmallows

24 Graham teddy bear cookies

½ cup chocolate chips

8 sugar cones

Method

Mix marshmallows, chocolate chips and cookies together in a bowl.

Stuff each cone to the top with marshmallow mixture.

Wrap each cone with a double layer of tin foil to completely seal the cone and filling.

Place on a barbecue on medium heat and close the lid for five to eight minutes, turning occasionally.

Remove from heat and let the cones cool down enough to hold upright before unwrapping.

Serve warm.

Oreo cookies make a great base for this modern take on s'mores.

S’moreos

Ingredients

12 chocolate Oreo cookies

12 marshmallows

12 squares of milk chocolate

Method

Preheat the broiler

Twist the tops off the cookies and arrange them cream-side up on a baking sheet.

Put a piece of chocolate on the cream filling and then top with a marshmallow.

Pull up a chair and watch closely while you broil the marshmallows to your liking — golden brown is a good start.

Place the remaining cookie tops on the marshmallows and enjoy.
