Starting today (Monday, Nov. 9), Ikea Canada is offering restaurant takeout.
Customers can place their takeout order at a special Ikea kiosk in the bistro after checkouts.
According to Ikea, the new restaurant takeout offer is in addition to the existing ‘grab and go’ options, including the store’s popular veggie dog, frozen yogurt and strawberry vegan frozen treat.
As part of the takeout offer, Ikea is introducing “affordable” family meals, including Swedish meatballs and veggieballs, which includes 24 meatballs (or veggie balls) with a choice of two sides, accompanying sauces and a family sized chocolate DAIM cake, costing $29.99 (meat) and $19.99 (veggie).
