Everything you can eat and drink at the Richmond World Festival

There are more than 50 food trucks to choose from.

Considered a signature event, the Richmond World Festival is a two-day party that celebrates the city’s cultural diversity though music, food, sport and art from around the world.

The event, which takes place August 31 and September 1, features over 90 artists on the festival’s nine stages, as well as a kids’ zone, live cooking demos, and artisans and vendors, and the whole thing is free to attend.

But we’re here to talk about the food. The Richmond World Festival includes the FEASTival of Flavours (featuring over 50 food trucks and vendors), which means there is much to to eat and drink at this fun event.

•             5:30pm – Chef Lan Do from Banh Mi Tres Bon

Menu item: Grilled beef banh mi, grilled pork banh mi, green papaya salad and sweet mango salad

•             6:45pm – Chef Betty Hung from Beaucoup Bakery

Menu item: Paris Brest, classic French pastry

Saturday, September 1

•             4:45pm – Chef Mike Manlulu from Britannia Brewing Co.

Menu item: Britannia Adrift blonde ale marinated Humbolt squid steak, with tomatillo and gooseberry salsa

•             5:45pm – Dominique & Cindy Duby from Wild Sweets

Menu item: Cocoa bean to bar chocolate salted butter caramel popcorn, Richmond’s fresh corn emulsion + foam, Dried maple bacon crunch
