Cheese and meat festival heading to Vancouver

There are few food partnerships that work as well as cheese and meat, so it makes perfect sense to have an entire event dedicated to them both, together.

Back for its third year, the Cheese and Meat Festival returns to Vancouver on Saturday, September 1, 2018.

The event is generally structured around the tasting event, which finds attendees eating their way around the Roundhouse. Multiple vendors are slated to participate, and they’ll be able to load up your charcuterie board (yours to keep!) with samples of meats, cheese, and accompaniments (think pickles, olives, etc) along with chocolate, all paired with wine, beer and spirits.

There are two tasting sessions, an afternoon and an evening one, and you can also purchase tickets to attend two separate seminars. There’s “Salt, Smoke, Cure” at 1:45 pm and “Port and Stinky Cheese” at 5:45 pm. Both include tastings and presentations, but don’t include admission to the overall tasting sessions.

More information and tickets are currently available online.
