3 Richmond breweries join the BC Ale Trail

The BC Ale Trail has grown a little bigger, which means more beers for everyone. Three Richmond craft brewers have signed on to this tourism-backed initiative to spread the word about the province’s many fantastic local craft brewers.

With the addition of Fuggles & Warlock, Monkey 9 and Britannia Brewing, Richmond has its first craft breweries on the Ale Trail. Richmond is now linked up with the regional Ale Trail that ties together Delta, New Westminster, and Surrey, all neighbouring communities.

The BC Ale Trail was launched in 2016, and was designed to give local and visiting beer enthusiasts an easy way to navigate the province’s robust brewing scene.

Britannia Brewing, a Steveston Village spot that celebrates the village’s fishing and boat-building beginnings.

Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks takes traditional styles of beer to the limit, adding west coast flair and “Geek Culture” branding while living the tagline “Keeping Beer Weird.”

Monkey 9 Brewing offers eight flagship beers in a spacious restaurant with modern decor, an outdoor patio, large flat screen TVs, a wood stone oven for authentic pizzas, and bowling lanes next door.
