The Richmond Therapeutic Riding Association is holding a shredding fundraiser this Saturday.

The Richmond Therapeutic Riding Association's (RTRA) annual shredding fundraiser is back this Saturday, Sept. 24.

A secure onsite mobile shredding truck at the South Arm United Church will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to shred any old receipts, records, tax files and so on in bankers' boxes or grocery bags.

The event has a suggested donation of $10. Proceeds will benefit the RTRA, which provides therapeutic riding primarily to children and youth with disabilities. According to its website, 81.5 per cent of its costs for providing lessons for each child is covered through fundraising efforts.
