A Richmond school leader will serve for two years from 2022 to 2024 as a board member of the BC Principals’ & Vice-Principals’ Association (BCPVPA).
Along with the rest of the board members, District Administrator of Equity and Inclusion Navshina Savory will be guiding BCPVPA in providing advocacy and professional development support for its members, according to Sandra Murphy, director of communications at BCPVPA.
BCPVPA is a voluntary professional association that aims to support members in providing outstanding leadership in public education. It has 2,600 members across B.C.'s 60 school districts, which include principals, vice-principals, district principals, and directors of instruction.
