Out and About: Steveston plant sale a gardener's paradise

A traditional high tea and plants for sale were part of an annual event at the heritage farm in Steveston.

Crowds of gardeners visited London Farm for its 13th annual plant sale over the Mother’s Day weekend.

The sale offered a selection of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, tomato plants, cacti, herbs and succulents plus a variety of garden tool and accessories.

The gift shop’s excellent selection of jams, jellies and teas was also available.

And the traditional afternoon tea was served on Mother’s Day.

A large group of friendly, helpful volunteers kept everything working smoothly.

All money from the sales goes to support the activities of London Farm.

Check the London Farm website for more future activities, hours open and general information.
