On this day:
In 1937, King George VI was crowned at Westminster Abbey in London, and his wife, Elizabeth, was crowned as queen consort.

In 1958, Canada signed an agreement with the United States to create the North American Air Defense Command, which was later renamed the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

In 2017, a cyber extortion attack locked up computers in dozens of countries and held users’ files for ransom at a multitude of hospitals, companies and government agencies.

In case you missed it…
The northern lights put on quite the dramatic show this weekend.

Meanwhile…
A new book by Dr. Robert Crossland, who was coroner in the 1980s and early 90s, dives into more than 20 years of investigations and reports on more than 600 sudden, unexpected deaths in the qathet community and the oceans, lakes, forests and mountains which surround it.
