The fourth annual Songs in the Snow will take place in Steveston – and in your living room – on three Saturday afternoons in December.

The trio of free, live-streamed performances will feature local music and entertainment, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 5, 12 and 19.

As part of the Steveston-wide Winter in the Village celebrations, the shows will be available by Zoom and will include a new line-up of musicians and entertainers performing holiday favourites all three nights.

This year also includes live caricature drawings of participants watching on Zoom by local cartoonist, Cartoon Katie.

Drawings will be mailed out afterwards. Locals can also pre-order and pick up free craft kits and hot drink and cookie packages ahead of the show to enjoy at home.

Register for tickets at www.historicsteveston.ca. Tickets are free or by donation, with proceeds supporting the programs of the Steveston Historical Society.

A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants before the event, which is being presented by the support of Steveston Historical Society, the Richmond Arts Coalition and the City of Richmond and sponsors BC Arts Council, Province of BC and G&F Financial.

For more information and to register and order craft kits and hot drink packages, visit www.historicsteveston.ca.
