Serious collision shuts down Highway 13 for several hours

People are asked to plan a different route as the area will be closed for several hours.

A serious collision is being investigated by forensic reconstruction officers in Langley.

Police are notifying the public about the serious vehicle collision that happened on 264th Street at Robertson Crescent on Tuesday morning. 

Drive BC states Highway 13 (264th Street) is closed due to the vehicle incident at 7:35 a.m. 

Traffic is being routed around the closure, which is on 264th between Fraser Highway and 48th Avenue. 

Cpl. Dave Noon stated the closure would remain for several hours and asks people to plan accordingly.

It's not clear at this time if anyone was injured.

No further details are being released at this time. 

The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service is responsible for the forensic reconstruction of collisions that result in serious injury or death from Pemberton to Boston Bar.
