North Vancouver RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 52-year-old man living in Surrey.
Police say Robert Wooten was last seen at his residence in the 12000 block of 62nd Avenue in Surrey on May 11.
Wooten has immediate family members in North Vancouver who called to report him missing the same day, said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, media relations officer for North Vancouver RCMP. This is out of character for Wooten, police said.
"We're just trying to find him and check and confirm his well-being," Sahak said. "[The] family is concerned, they haven't heard from him."
In a press release, Wooten is described as six feet tall and 174 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
Wooten could be around the Lower Mainland, including the North Shore, which is why police are investigating, Sahak said.
Sahak said since Wooten's disappearance was reported to North Vancouver RCMP, their detachment is taking the lead on the file.
Anyone with information about Wooten's whereabouts or believes they have seen him is asked to call North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file #25-9374.
