The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) shared that a missing 13-year-old girl has been safely located, according to an Oct. 28 update.
The teen had missing in South Vancouver since Thursday afternoon.
The VPD had previously released photos of the missing girl in the hope that someone sees her or has information regarding her whereabouts.
She was last seen on Oct. 26 at 3:40 p.m. on the grounds of a Vancouver school.
She never returned home after school and her disappearance was considered very out of character, leaving her family and friends concerned for her well-being, said the VPD in a news release.
