A car and its driver were found in a ditch on No. 3 Road near the south arm of Fraser River.

A car and its driver were found on No. 3 Road near the south arm of the Fraser River on Tuesday evening.

Richmond RCMP officers were called to the scene just before 7 p.m. on Sept. 12.

“Richmond RCMP frontline attended and determined neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the single vehicle collision,” said Richmond RCMP spokesperson Adriana O’Malley.

One ambulance and a paramedic supervisor attended the scene, according to the B.C. Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), and tended to one patient at the scene.

The patient was not transported to the hospital.

A spokesperson from the Canadian Coast Guard confirmed the Siyay hovercraft attended the scene but was stood down once BCEHS arrived.
