Traffic to and from YVR is heavily congested at the moment due to an incident under the Oak Street Bridge.

Traffic to and from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is heavily congested after a crane truck knocked down trolley wires under the Oak Street Bridge.

According to a post on social media platform X, the incident took place shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of SW Marine Drive and Oak Street, under the Oak Street Bridge, in Vancouver.

Traffic is currently blocked in both directions and northbound traffic on Arthur Laing Bridge is experiencing heavy delays.

YVR is asking those travelling to or from YVR this afternoon to plan for delays or take the Canada Line instead.
