3-week construction planned for Steveston and Gilbert intersection

Water main construction work will take place over three weeks at the Steveston Highway and Gilbert Road intersection starting March 25.

Richmond drivers passing through the Gilbert Road and Steveston Highway intersection will have to watch out for traffic control and potential delays starting Monday.

According to a post by Metro Vancouver on social media platform X, water main construction work will take place in the intersection between March 25 and April 12. 

Lanes will be reduced and sidewalks may be restricted.

Drivers are advised to follow the signage and directions of traffic control personnel.
