The Richmond testing site has been closed since Christmas, but it will re-open on Sunday.

The COVID-19 testing centre near the airport has re-opened as of Monday, Jan. 3.

Vancouver Coastal Health posted on Twitter that both the YVR and Vancouver’s St. Vincent’s testing sites have “resumed operations” as of today.

“Testing services at both sites will resume regular days and hours of operations, and VCH appreciates the understanding and support of the community,” said VCH.

The testing site at the JetSet parking lot just near the entrance to the airport was closed due to “hazardous weather conditions” since Dec. 25

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported that between Dec. 22 and 29 there were 468 cases detected (this is updated from BCCDC data released earlier this week).
