A COVID-19 outbreak at Minoru Residence, a Richmond long-term care home, has been declared over.

A COVID-19 outbreak at Minoru Residence, a long-term care home in Richmond, has been declared over by Vancouver Coastal Health.

Three residents tested positive for the virus during the outbreak. No one died.

The home is now open to new admissions and transfers, and is working to resume all group activities and visitation, according to the health authority.

Ongoing infection prevention and control protocols are also in place to protect residents and staff.

The outbreak was first declared on June 21, according to VCH’s facility outbreak bulletin.
