The BC Centre for Disease Control reported a total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Richmond this week as 946 (as of Dec. 3).

This is 92 more cases than the total reported on Nov. 26, but the increase is less than in previous weeks.

In the past two weeks, there have been 203 new cases, according to data released this week.

The BCCDC notes, however, there may be undetected cases in the community as everyone who has COVID-19 doesn’t necessarily get tested.

The testing site in Richmond for COVID-19 is just outside the airport, at the JetSet parking lot, 5911 North Service Rd. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for drive-through. Anyone who needs to walk in to be tested can go to Richmond Hospital.
