Richmond legion hosting free community BBQ

To celebrate Legion Week, the Richmond branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting a free community barbeque, in support of the Military Family Resource Centre.

To celebrate Legion Week, the Richmond branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting a free community barbeque, in support of the Military Family Resource Centre. 

The legion is hosting the event on Saturday, June 22 at their branch at 11131 Bridgeport Rd. from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. where donations to the cause will be gratefully received.

As well as the food, there will be prizes and much more and the Military Family Resource Centre will be on hand to showcase their programs.

The Military Family Resource Centre supports the families of Canadian Forces members who are deployed or away for training with a number of excellent programs.
