Skating

The City of Richmond says the ice on the pond at Garry Point Park isn’t thick enough yet, but that hasn’t stopped many people from skating on the pond in the park. Some locals say they accept the risk of falling through the ice, adding the pond isn’t that deep. If you want to stay safe, though, opt for one of the city's indoor rinks.
