Richmondites curious about plans to enhance the London/Steveston Park are invited to an open house later this month.
On April 13 from 12 to 4 p.m., a public open house will be hosted to provide information and to celebrate the next phase of construction, which is expected to begin before the summer.
This next phase will include new pathways, rolling hills, more trees and a new playground. An off-leash dog park may be in the works in 2020.
The open house will be near the park playground. Refreshments, face painting, planting activities and park department staff available to answer questions will also be on hand.
City council approved the concept for London/Steveston Park back in 2015.
