What do you want to see in the new Steveston Community Centre? Now is your chance to provide your feedback to the city, until April 22.

Currently, the City of Richmond is developing its concept design for a new community centre and library in Steveston. In February, the city gathered public and stakeholder feedback and has used those comments to influence its draft building program complete with various spaces to meet the community’s needs.

In December 2016, the city highlighted the replacement of the Steveston Community Centre as a priority project for 2016-2026.

Now, feedback will be gathered at a drop in town hall meeting on Saturday, April 21 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Steveston Community Centre. There will be a presentation by the project’s architect from 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

If you can’t attend the town hall, go online to letstalkrichmond.ca to provide your feedback by 11:59 p.m. on April 22. A summary of the input gathered during the first public engagement process is also available.

Feedback collected will be used in a report to council that will be presented later this spring.
