What’s more, over three acres of the property are teeming with mammoth sunflowers that stand over 12 feet tall.

One-and-a-half acres are planted in a beautiful cut flower orange variety which will reach heights between five and six feet tall. In addition, one acre is a show garden that offers 15 varieties in different heights, colours and bloom size.

This year, the festival includes a separate ‘u-pick field’ where guests may select their own soaring stalks to take home. Similarly, the flower shop offers fresh-cut sunflowers, potted sunflowers, and tulip/daffodil bulbs that visitors may take with them.

There are also a multitude of fantastic places for photo opportunities, which include three swing sets, the working mill, and the famous “tulip bike.” Food trucks are available on-site on the weekends for when hunger strikes, and there are covered areas to enjoy delectable ice cream and cold beverages.
