Vehicle crash, Civil action causing major traffic delays on Highway 91 westbound

Many vehicles have taken to the road to protest in solidarity with Punjabi farmers over agriculture laws in India.

Motorists travelling on Highway 91 westbound should expect delays or find an alternate route on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Twitter post, the traffic disruptions are due to a civil action showing support for farmers in India.

The vehicles are support Punjabi farmers protesting new agriculture laws in India.

Traffic going onto the Knight Street Bridge is backed up to No. 6 Road in the westbound direction.

Eastbound traffic on Highway 91 is backed up to No. 5 Road as well as the on-ramp from Highway 99.

Meanwhile, a crash on Highway 91 westbound, just before the S-curve, has the left lane blocked.
