A B.C. man is facing charges of public masturbation, urination and threat charges relating to incidents in Vancouver, Victoria and Sidney.

Gurman Singh Sidhu remains in custody after his case came before Vancouver Downtown Community Court Judge James Behan June 1.

Sidhu, 28, did not appear before Behan as planned as he was not well, defence lawyer Jayde Niefer said.

He faces two counts of committing an indecent act. One relates to an alleged May 25 incident in Vancouver’s Oppenheimer Park. He is also charged with resisting police that day.

Sidhu faces two charges related to Victoria incidents where it is alleged that, on Dec. 27, he uttered a threat to another man and committed mischief at a Tim Hortons. The day before, it’s alleged Sidhu committed mischief and did an indecent act by urinating on the floor of a McDonald’s restaurant.
