The City of Richmond is hosting a public discussion this month for community members to voice their opinions on how to best move the arts forward in Richmond.

Input received dialogue session on Nov. 19 will help shape the city’s new Richmond Arts Strategy.

This is the latest step in Richmond’s Arts Services’ quest to collect feedback for the strategy. They’ve already collected some feedback, and say a few priorities have emerged.

People want Richmond to invest in the arts, ensure art is affordable and accessible and activate public participation through the arts. But they’re still looking for more feedback to create a vision for a vibrant arts scene.

The public discussion starts at 7 p.m. at the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. You can pre-register to attend by emailing [email protected]
