Elvis may have “left the building” a long time ago, but his music still lives on through a number of tribute artists. And one of best in the business, Vancouver’s Steve Elliott, is coming to the Beatmerchant Record Store in Steveston Village next Wednesday evening (June21) for a free performance.

Elliott won the 2004 top Canadian tribute title at Penticton’s annual Elvis festival and in 2010 performed at Empire Field in Vancouver in front of a crowd of more than 25,000 at a special, BC Lions half time show.

In Steveston, he will perform his Elvis Elite tribute outdoors starting at 6 p.m. at the Beatmerchant (160 - 12240 Second Ave.) and will later pose for photos with his pink Cadillac for fans.

The event is the record store’s third in its series “Sessions at the Store” which currently runs monthly.
