Captain Tyler Andrews clutched up for the Richmond Sockeyes Thursday night, scoring twice including the overtime winner to force a game seven on Sunday against the Grandview Steelers.

The Richmond Sockeyes will be looking to break the home ice trend when they head to the Burnaby Winter Club Sunday afternoon for game seven of their opening round Pacific Junior Hockey League series with the Grandview Steelers.
The Sockeyes extended the quarter-final tilt to the limit thanks to captain Tyler Andrews’ unassisted overtime goal Thursday night, giving his team a 3-2 triumph. Remarkably, it was the third straight game that required an extra period to determine the outcome.
Each team has won all three games on their home ice. The Steelers took the series lead with a 3-2 game five win on Wednesday as Liam Cumberbirch scored with just one second remaining in the first 10-minute overtime period. On Monday, it was Austin Cook scoring in triple overtime to give Richmond a 5-4 victory.
The Sockeyes never trailed in game six, getting earlier goals from Matthew Brown and Andrews. Merek Pipes made 23 saves as Richmond outshot the visitors 34-25.
Game time Sunday is 4 p.m. The winner will face the Delta Ice Hawks or the North Vancouver Wolf Pack in the Tom Shaw Conference finals. Delta takes a 3-1 lead into game five tonight in Ladner.
