The Richmond Flickers have wrapped up their season in golden fashion, capturing B.C. Field Hockey’s U15 Tier 2 Club Championship on the weekend in Chilliwack.

The Flickers earned a final four berth by going 2-0-1 in their pool group on Saturday, highlighted by an impressive 6-1 victory over the host Pink Panthers. The girls also defeated Burnaby and battled the Vancouver Hawks to a 1-1 draw.

In the semi-finals, Richmond slipped past the Tri-City Chaos 1-0, setting the stage for a rematch with Vancouver for provincial gold. The Flickers prevailed 2-0 in a battle of unbeaten teams.

The team includes: Anna Cathcart, Cala Winebrenner, Chloe Sloboda, Darin Craig, Eliza Ryder, Ella Hurst, Emma Dickson, Emmalia Morris, Hope Chan, Jessica Sewell Sinclair, Kyra Wenzel, Mackenzie Hourston, Macy Sweetman, Maddie Thacker, Maya Pasut, McKenzie Chisholm, Nora Wong-Hen, Priya Dosanjh and Sofia Rieger-Torres.

The girls are coached by Rob Pasut and assistant Dakota Chan. The team manager is Laurie Sewell.
