It was a successful trip down south for the Richmond Girls Soccer Association.
The club wrapped up its spring season by sending eight teams to Mt. Vernon, WA for the 24th annual Skagit Firecracker Tournament, hosted by Northwest United F.C. Each of the entries battled hard and played exceptional soccer.
By the end of the weekend, four RGSA teams had reached their respective divisional finals. The U12 Red Rebels and U11 Flames celebrated championship wins, while the U12 Red Bulls and U13 Thunder captured silver medals.
The Red Rebels include: Natalie C., Ashna D., Ella F., Lauren G., Olivia G., Adriana H., Sarah K., Arielle TC., Sierrah M., Elena M., Emi N., Emma S., Emily T., Sivia C., Ella L., and Amesha S. The coaches are: Marty M., Mike H. and Rachel R.
The U11 Flames roster features: Maria B., Katie H., Briana L., Samantha L. Aliyah P., Alyssha Q., Chloe R., Morgan TS., Alex W., Ashley Y., Macey F. and Leah Anderson. The coaches are Brad R., Matt L. And Brent Branker.
All teams are looking forward to a successful 2018-2019 season when it gets underway in September.
