Letter: Richmond city council casts hypocritical eyes on ALR mansions

Re: “Committee stands pat on farmhouse size,” News, May 10.

Councillors call on the provincial government to do more to protect farmland while recklessly allowing more and bigger mega-houses within the Agricultural Land Reserve. What hypocrisy! Anyone with eyes to see knows that ever more and bigger houses on Richmond farmland destroys farming. The decline of sanity?
