The curtain may be closing for Steveston-filmed Once Upon a Time, but local fans may get one last chance to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars next week.

Rumour has it the show will film its finale in Steveston on March 28 and 29, according to a tweet from Visit Richmond.

First introduced in 2011, the highly ranked show, which intertwines a fairytale world with modern life, boosted tourism in Steveston. Tourism Richmond promoted special package deals for fans including hotel stays and Disney-licensed “Once” merchandise, such as T-shirts, tote bags, hoodies and posters.

Fans looking for a guided tour of “Storybrooke,” the TV show’s name for Steveston, can pick up a Once Upon a Time walking map for $2.50 at the Tourism Richmond Visitor Centre to follow the footsteps of the characters in the show, such as Emma Swan, Rumplestiltskin and Regina Mills.

Visit Richmond also created a specific website and Facebook page for Storybrooke.

Upon filming day, Storybrooke signage will go up in town, Visit Richmond said on the website. If you decide to visit Steveston on the filming days next week, here are some tips of filming transformations for you to look out:

— The Steveston Post Office and Visitor Centre becomes the Storybrooke Post Office

—  The Cannery Café becomes Granny’s Diner

—  The Gulf of Georgia Cannery becomes the Storybrooke Cannery
