If you were shopping or dining at a Richmond mall last Sunday, you may see yourself appear in the newest season of the Amazing Race Canada.
The Amazing Race Canada production team was spotted at Parker Place on No. 3 Road last Sunday.
A production team came to the mall around noon for filming and many passersbys recognized they were from the Amazing Race Canada program.
The Amazing Race Canada is a reality television show where 10 teams embark on a race around the country and the world for the grand prize at the finish line. Its Season 9 was aired on CTV last year.
From videos shared on Chinese social media Littel Red Book, a dozen people were playing mahjong at the fully packed Parker Place food court during the filming.
"The shooting team came around 12 and left in two hours," said a restaurant worker at the food court.
"There were people playing mahjong on the stage in the centre of the food court. They didn't close the food court for the filming so many customers were having lunch at the same time."
Parker Place's management team said they could not provide more information about the filming or confirm if it was the Amazing Race Canada team.
But they said they were told the episode was expected to be broadcast in July.
