Richmond F.C. and Richmond Girls Soccer Association are co-hosting the 26th annual Richmond Thanksgiving Tournament throughout the city.

It will be a feast of soccer action this weekend as Richmond F.C. and Richmond Girls Soccer Association come together to co-host the 26th annual Richmond Thanksgiving Tournament/Festival.

This year’s edition features 130 teams from throughout the province and the Yukon Territory.

The schedule is compacted into Saturday and Sunday and utilizes almost every field in the city.

The U11 and U12 age groups play a festival format with no official scores being recorded while U13 and U18 will determine the various division winners on Sunday afternoon.

RGSA’s side of the tournament will be exclusively at Hugh Boyd with action getting underway at 8:30 a.m. on both days and continuing until just after 5 p.m.

Along side the games, there will be skills competitions and the opportunity to enter a raffle with the donation of non perishable goods that will go the the Richmond Food Bank.
