That’s a very possible scenario when the two sides meet on Friday night in Lincoln in non-conference play.

The Cornhuskers roster happens to feature sophomore forward Natalie Cooke (Richmond High) and freshman midfielder Dakota Chan (McMath). Both girls have seen plenty of pre-season action so far including a 2-0 win over the University of Oregon when Cooke scored her first-ever collegiate goal in the 59th minute.

The TSS Academy products also came in off the bench in Sunday’s win over Oregon State with Chan playing the entire second half.

Meanwhile, Ebony Clarke (RC Plamer) has wasted little time in seeing the field in her freshman season at Washington State. The midfielder has also been used in a substitute role, including Sunday’s 2-0 victory at Minnesota.

Clarke agreed to a scholarship with the Pac 12 school after playing for Surrey United of the B.C. Premier Soccer League. She is also currently a member of the Jamaica U20 national team.

Her older sisters Summer and Jade both took their careers to Louisiana State University. Summer has since graduated while Jade is in her junior season.
