“I am honoured to partner with the Vancouver Canadians and many of my former teammates and friends to raise funds for a good cause. Vancouver is a very special city and the Vancouver Canadians organization is a first-class operation. Additionally, I am very appreciative for the support we receive from Budweiser, Canadian Tire Corporation, along with many others. I can’t wait to see everyone on August 26!”
Other confirmed former MLB players include Jason Grilli, Ricky Romero, JP Arencibia, Lloyd Moseby, Jesse Barfield, and Duane Ward, with many more being added later.
“It is always a pleasure to work with Robbie and Alomar Sports. Whether it’s here working with the C’s players or working in the community to help so many wonderful causes and organizations, Robbie is a true hall-of-famer both on and off the field. I am excited about Robbie bringing this great event to Vancouver,” said Canadians president Andy Dunn.”
