Cambie Cheer not only captured its division at last week's BC Cheerleading Championships, the Crusaders earned one of three invites to the 2021 World High School Championships at Disney World in Florida.

The Cambie Cheer team is headed to the 2021 High School World Cheerleading Championships in Florida following a big win on the weekend.

The Crusaders not only captured their division at the BC Cheerleading Championships, held at the PNE Forum, they were one of three high school teams to earn invites to next year’s prestigious event at Disney World.

The team members include: Joseph Mandap, Meriel Mangilin, Ashleen Sindhar, Amy Aginsky, Lana Domingo, Denise Pangilinan, Dominique Vega, Mikaela Rodriguez, Sharon Chen, Alexandra Dawe, Priya Mahil, Amrit Singh, Daniel Briones, Val Richert, Disha Prabhaker, Jessica Baliban, Akisha Frazao-Staples and Elijah Pandeagua.

Mugi Masaki is the team’s head coach and teacher-sponsor. She is joined by co-coaches Tyler Meng and Amy Wong.
