Dear Editor,

I am the patient/parent advocate for oncology/hematology/BMT at BC Children’s Hospital.

I want to say a huge thank you to Shane, owner of the Steveston Seafood House, for his generosity, through providing a complimentary Easter dinner for families in oncology who were in hospital.

Shane recognized that many families would not be in the comfort of their own homes over the Easter weekend and provided 45 individual delicious hot dinners for families to enjoy. This was truly a treat and families were over the moon with his gift.
