Senior walking groups have attempted to walk on the new Garden City Lands trail. The variety of vegetation is lovely and very interesting
However, the absence of any seating/benches to rest on had us cancel all walks at that location.
The sensible completion of this community nature resource requires the placement of benches in frequent locations along the walk.
$5 million to service less than 300 lawn bowlers must be reconsidered with a portion redirected to this immediate need of benches to serve the whole public.
The bowlers have a structure to use for the time being. The walkers have nothing.
