Letters: A first for Richmond's 106-year-old cribbage player

Dear Editor, On Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Minoru Activity Centre, one of our cribbage players scored the perfect hand of 29 points. What is even more remarkable is that this happened less than three weeks before her 107th birthday.

Dear Editor,

On Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Minoru Activity Centre, one of our cribbage players scored the perfect hand of 29 points.

What is even more remarkable is that this happened less than three weeks before her 107th birthday.

Richmond resident Linda Yale says she has been playing cribbage since she was seven years old. This is the first 29-hand she has had.

Linda is still active, and comes to play cribbage twice a week — when she isn’t busy with one of her many other activities.
