Re: “Chinese reception to go ahead at UBCM convention,” Richmond-News.com.
After reading the article about the visit of Chinese lobbyists in September because they are contributing a small amount of dollars to the UBCM convention, I’m outraged.
How inappropriate, considering all the difficulties China is imposing on Canadian trade and detaining our citizens.
Do you really think that this welcome would be reciprocated to us if we were doing the same and went on a visit to China?
Let us stand strong, as we are a great nation, not fools. We need to send a message...that all is not OK with China and our citizens must be released before it is business as usual.
