In this day’s busy life, setting aside some time for the family is a great gift. Thus, celebrating Family Day in B.C. is very special. It gives us a chance to strengthen bonds with other members of our family.
In this context, a lot of community centres held special events to bring families together and celebrate Family Day. East Richmond Community Association (ERCA)/Cambie Community Centre had a very successful Family Day celebration on Feb. 13. More than 120 parents, grandparents and children had pre-registered for this special event.
On behalf of ERCA, I would like to thank the City of Richmond, the provincial government, Fruiticana (Richmond), city and association staff, students from various Richmond high schools and scores of volunteers for making this year’s Family Day such a great success.
