Dear Editor,
On Sunday September 16th a committed group of volunteers and participants joined together at Garry Point for the annual Terry Run Richmond. As a result a total of $16,402.00 was raised helping to ensure that Terry’s vision for a world free of cancer carries on.
We’d like to thank the many local organizations whose support ensures that the money raised goes directly to fund cancer research.
We are also thankful to our hard working committee members. This committed group of people together with our amazing volunteers work tirelessly to make sure the day runs smoothly. With us again this year was an impressive group of students from the Leadership Class of McMath Secondary School.
And finally, a heartfelt thank you to all the participants who joined us to run, walk and wheel in honour of Terry’s legacy, this day would not be what it is without you.
The results of this day will help to give hope to patients and their families. And, ultimately, this is what Terry’s story is…a story about hope.
Howard, Marla Jampolsky
