Living the Legacy: Olympic 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

Head to the Oval for a family-friendly celebration marking the 10th anniversary of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Featuring activities such as exhibition hockey games, speed-skating try-outs, selfies with an Olympic torch and the chance to meet some Canadian Olympic athletes. Event runs Feb. 21, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.; Feb. 22, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and Feb. 23, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Cannery Farmers’ Market

The farmers’ market returns to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a variety of vendors selling local produce, baked goods, artisan creations and more.

Once Upon an App

A traditional storytime series is on at Richmond Public Library’s Brighouse branch, featuring stories, songs, finger plays and rhymes, all enhanced by the introduction of a new educational app each week. Series runs for four weeks. Families can try the apps, chat with library staff about digital literacy. Event runs 30 minutes and is for children aged 3 to 5 years. Devices provided. Free admission.
